Job Profile Summary

A career within our Tax Reporting Services Business Unit will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their accounting and statutory tax obligations while being a strategic trusted adviser on a wide spectrum of Accounting, Bookkeeping and Payroll issues.

PwC Tanzania invites applications from qualified candidates for the position below:

Tax Senior Associate – Accounting, Bookkeeping and Payroll

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Administration of client payroll functions and managing accounting transactions for clients.
  • Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Responsible for tax compliance services (VAT, withholding tax, service levy, stamp duty).
  • Support daily activities of the Tax Reporting Services Business Unit.
  • Perform any other related functions and duties as may be assigned by the leadership.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum upper second honours
  • CPA Tanzania qualification
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferably advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Sage software will be an added advantage
