Role Overview:
We are seeking a Solar Operations and Maintenance Engineer to oversee the ongoing maintenance and operation of our solar projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the high performance and reliability of our solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cleaning, preventative maintenance checks and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation of solar systems.
- Respond to system outages and other emergencies, restoring functionality in a timely manner.
- Perform system monitoring to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Manage and maintain solar system components, including inverters, panels, and electrical systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize system efficiency.
- Train and supervise field staff on proper maintenance procedures.
- Document and report on maintenance activities and system performance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field, with a focus on solar energy systems.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of photovoltaic systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to work in varying outdoor conditions and manage physical requirements of the job.
