Job Purpose:

Reporting and Analytics Manager will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and internal control. He/She will support the Finance team with various external and internal reporting, and prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis.

The R&A manager is required to possess analytical skills to evaluate data and needs to pay attention to details to ensure data is accurate. He/She must also have problem-solving skills and transform raw data into business insights that are useful for decision making and strategic planning for the business.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly group reporting and covenant reporting
  • Design analytical reports that would provide full transparency over reported figures with drill down possibility
  • Assist with yearly budgeting process management
  • Design and implement control over variances vs budget
  • Prepare different presentations for management related to actual monthly results, budgets, forecasts, specific projects
  • Manage specific projects as assigned by the management
  • Participate in investor relationship management by gathering information, responding to different investor requests
  • Advise management on weaknesses in monthly reporting and suggest corrective actions
  • Lead implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Be part of implementation of Internal Audit findings
  • Assist in work with internal and external auditors on a yearly basis
  • Work with massive data sets with accuracy
  • Model different project scenarios, financial and operational
  • Other responsibilities may be requested from the management from time to time.

 

Leadership and People Management:

  • Set a clear vision and direction for the Finance team, and inspire them to achieve it.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to the team, and create a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment for them.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the activities of the team, and make sound decisions based on data and analysis.
  • Prepare, manage, and control the budget for the department, and ensure accountability for the financial outcomes.
  • Team performance management by managing the deadlines and giving performance feedback.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related (Masters or professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA will be considered an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant Financial analytical experience in a managerial position, working experience in a financial institution is an added advantage.
  • Experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, reporting (statutory and management). EXCELLENT in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Self motivated with high energy and ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and flexibility to adopt fast paced and dynamic working environments
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, driving performance, decision-making, analytical, organizational, and planning skills, influencing culture and love for developing talents
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport, work and blend with a team of individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent knowledge on finance and accounting processes and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and deadlines, adapt to changing situations, and manage conflicts effectively.
