The company has been operating for 8 years and is now looking for a dynamic production manager to achieve it growth goals. The company is located in Mafinga, Tanzania and the project post is for a full-time position on site.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality and Standards Officer to join our team. The Quality and Standards Officer will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards across our organization. This role involves developing quality control processes, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. It requires strong leadership to train people to follow company procedures and establish processes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure products, services, or processes meet established quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits of processes, products, and documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to monitor quality trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control processes and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality control processes, audits, and corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration) preferred.
- Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.
