Program Manager

About the Role:

The Program Manager is responsible for the organization, development and implementation of existing entrepreneurship programs and is the lead for the acquisition of new programs, including the development of proposals. The Program Manager is the functional manager to the Program Coordinator. In addition, the Program Manager is the go-to person in the hub when it comes to stakeholder management of donors, experts, mentors, investors, and founders.

Responsibilities:

• Current Programs: Planning, organization, stakeholder management, implementation, budgeting and reporting
• New Programs: Identification of grants, structuring of applications and writing/submissions of proposals
• Support for members: Is the go-to person in the hub when it comes to potentially supporting our entrepreneurs (i.e. access to finance, capacity building, technical advisory, mentorship)

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years experience or more working in entrepreneurship support.
• Big picture thinking coupled with organizational and delegation skills.
• Fundraising spirit. Able to see opportunities and follow up.
• Bonus: experience with investment for startups or SMEs.
• Bonus: understanding technology, platforms, and how to scale up startups or technology.
