The PHP Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and services using PHP, MySQL, and related technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Web Applications:
- Design, develop, and deploy web applications and services using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Code Optimization and Performance Tuning:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
- Database Management:
- Design and optimize MySQL databases, including database schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
- Implement data security and integrity measures to protect sensitive information and ensure data consistency.
- Integration and API Development:
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
- Develop RESTful APIs and web services for internal and external use, following RESTful design principles and standards.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of web applications.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and fix software defects and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and code comments, to facilitate understanding and collaboration.
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as a PHP developer, with a strong proficiency in PHP programming and MySQL database development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter is preferred.
- Solid understanding of web development concepts, including MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
