Role Overview:

We seek a dedicated Music Teacher who will inspire and cultivate a love for music among our students. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about infusing daily excitement through musical activities and joyful school assemblies. In addition to teaching music, this role involves assisting the academic office to ensure academic excellence across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for nursery and primary school students.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive music classes that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Organize and lead daily musical activities that create a joyful and stimulating atmosphere.
  • Plan and execute school assemblies and special events that highlight students’ musical talents.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate music into various aspects of the school day.
  • Assist the academic office with scheduling exams, analyzing results, and managing academic data.
  • Support student recruitment and the graduate recruitment program.
  • Ensure music is an integral part of the school’s operations and culture.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that encourages all students to participate in music activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching music to young children, preferably in an inclusive school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of various music genres and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for music and a genuine interest in fostering a love for music among students.
