Machine Operator

Position: Large Format and Signage Machine Operator

Printville Ltd, is seeking an experienced and qualified Large Format and Signage Operator. The ideal candidate must possess vast knowledge and experience in using roll to roll and flatbed machines with the ability to undertake service and maintenance. Additionally, the candidate should have the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

· Operate roll to roll and flatbed machines for printing, branding, and installation of banners, gazebos, vehicle wrapping, stickers, and other similar projects.

· Design and size artworks provided by clients, prepare mockups, and provide accurate costing of projects before execution.

· Knowledge and experience of making and installing all types of signages, including 2D, 3D signages, light boxes, pylons, and other signage requirements. Experience in using a CNC and laser machine is crucial for the execution of this role along with experience in fabrication works.

· Ability to guide and suggest to clients the appropriate promotional or visibility options they can opt by listening to their requirements and considering all other appropriate factors.

· Manage the departmental staff, delegate, supervise and plan daily/ routine tasks and responsibilities.

· Undertake continuous professional development by researching new inventions and technology in the industry and guiding management accordingly.

· Knowledge of graphic designing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Qualifications:

· Certification from appropriate training institutions/organizations on training received for similar machineries.

· Minimum of 10 years of work experience in roll to roll and flatbed printing machines, branding, installation of banners, gazebos, vehicle wrapping, signage installation, and other relevant roles of a machine operator.

· Knowledge of various types of printing materials and inks.

· Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.

· Ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 50 pounds.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
