Responsible for strategic direction, operations management, financial oversight, team development, and customer relationship management. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement the company’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence and increase revenue streams.
- Manage the company’s budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective measures.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends and implement innovative solutions to meet customer demands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven senior leadership experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Track record of delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining client relationships.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other East African languages is a plus).
- Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
