Purpose of the position
Are you passionate about financial analysis and possess a sharp eye for detail? We are in search of a highly motivated Credit Analysis Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Credit Analysis Officer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, ensuring the integrity of lending decisions, and contributing to our organization’s overall risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure all necessary documentation is provided for loan applications
- Evaluate loan applications, including thorough financial analysis, credit report reviews, ratio and trend analysis, and pricing assessments
- Manage credit risk and ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures
- Identify and address potential issues with credit information, coordinating with relevant parties for resolution
- Establish and maintain high standards of credit analysis, analyzing market data and financial reports to inform product and portfolio performance
- Conduct credit vetting in accordance with credit policies, detecting possible fraudulent activities, and verifying data accuracy
- Possess proficiency in loan management systems and utilize them effectively
- Verify client details and affordability, ensuring accuracy of information
- Maintain updated customer files and ensure proper handling of customer documents
- Enter loan applications and approvals into the system after confirmation and approval
- Complete loan contracts and provide clients with relevant policy and restriction information
- Undertake any other related tasks necessary to achieve company objectives, as assigned
Academic Qualification and Key Attributes Required
- High level of customer service orientation, with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Basic computer proficiency and strong administrative skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field
- Excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, problem-solving attitude, and strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse range of clients.
