Job Description Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd has exciting opportunities in Manufacturing Department. We are looking for talented individual with the relevant skills and experience for a Control & Automation Specialist to be based in Mbeya. The successful candidate will report directly to the Plant Engineer.
Key Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidates will be responsible to provide specialist technical support for electronic and electromechanical process equipment. To provide Level 2 fault finding and root cause analysis and identify and root out chronic failures. To ensure maximum reliability for process control instruments and Plant equipment.

The incumbent shall also be responsible for;-

  1. Performing planned equipment preventive maintenance and provide breakdown support
  2. Providing feedback to Planners and Team Leaders, on deviations in schedule or work to be completed
  3. Keeping abreast of all relevant latest technology developments and equipment upgrades
  4. Managing equipment upgrades to latest technology
  5. Upgrading all ancillary systems and processes (e.g. spares, tooling, training)
  6. Continuously improve Plant process equipment and systems
  7. Supporting in Plant projects (new installations and improvements)
  8. Conducting machine and tools audit and generate reports
  9. Offering support on major break downs and be available on call
  10. Support Team Leaders on performance evaluations links to the OEMS
  11. Ensuring maximum reliability for process control instruments
  12. Fault finding and root cause analysis
  13. Identifying and routing out chronic failures
  14. Providing support and ensure planned and predictive equipment maintenance for the Plant
  15. Ensuring compliance with the relevant health & safety regulations and quality standards
  16. Reporting all safety incidents and action as per procedures
  17. Support in budget preparation and control
  18. Support in generating CAPEX requirements

 

Skills, Experience & Education The applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical/Automation/Instrumentation Degree. Two years’ experience of working knowledge with SCADA, S5 and B&R software’s. The incumbet should also posses;
