Danvast Career Portal, a leading job portal in the industry, is seeking a highly qualified Chief Accountant to join our esteemed team. As our Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of our company, offering strategic advice to the management, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily accounting operations of the company, including preparing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, and maintaining records of transactions.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing regular reports to the management team on the financial status of the business.
• Review financial data and provide strategic advice to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and statutory regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financials reports are accurate and timely.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement financial controls to safeguard the company’s assets.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• At least 3 years experience from 5 star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external stakeholders.
• Ability to think critically and make sound judgement calls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with financial reporting software and Microsoft Office applications.
