Godown Mechanic

Scope:

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the technical condition and exterior condition assessment of the bikes, repairs, maintenance, and inventory checks within the assigned branch office by delivering and maintaining the highest-level professional service to the Company clients.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Inspecting and Providing reports on the condition of all bikes ready for sale.
2.  performing routine maintenance on all bikes ready for sale.
3. Conducting general inspections of both exterior and interior conditions of bikes before handing them over to clients.
4. Completing minor body repairs such as oil changes, and spark plug replacements, and Ensuring all bikes at the warehouse are clean, well-maintained, and properly arranged.
5. Ensuring all bikes are in working condition by switching them on at least twice a week.
6.  Collaborating with warehouse officers to organize the warehouse for smooth bike movements, including establishing labels for bikes.
7. Inspecting the condition of all bikes in the warehouse and ensuring all GPS systems are working.
8. Confidentially removing GPS from bikes sold for cash.
9. Performing any other tasks assigned by management.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications

1. 2+ years of proven experience as a Mechanic.
2. Diploma/Certificate in a relevant field.
3. Strong mechanical skills and good customer service skills.
4. Ability to drive the motorbike/Tuk-tuk.
5. Ability to follow established procedures and practices, read instructions, blueprints, etc.
6. Integrity, enthusiasm and passion for continuous learning and development.
7. An effective self-starter can multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced, team environment.
8. Detailed oriented.
