Erolink Limited on behalf of its client is seeking to recruit Civil engineers who will be responsible for creating, improving, and protecting to immediate environment. Responsible for planning and oversee construction and rebuilding, as well as the maintenance of roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, dams, harbors, power plants, and other civil work.
Main Responsibilities:
➢ Management, design, develop, create and maintain all level of scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner, preparing and implementing all project plans.
➢ Bring out technical and feasibility studies and draw up plans that satisfy technical specifications.
➢ Calculate potential risks, materials and costs
➢ Supervise and mentor junior staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
➢ Implementation of statutory regulations, ordinances advising Management on best practice to support private public partnership
➢ Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance
➢ Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
➢ Monitor and control progress and compile reports in project status
➢ Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials, advising Management,
➢ Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
➢ Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
Qualifications
➢ University Degree in Civil Engineering/ Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
➢ Intermediate computing and application skills (Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Microsoft Project) required.
➢ Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
Experience
➢ Preferably with 3 – 5 Years of Experience in construction roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, dams, harbors, power plants, and other civil work.
➢ Registered with ERB will be added advantage
➢ Experience in general building construction supervision, housing construction, site works, and with general civil infrastructure experience required.
➢ Good knowledge of all applicable Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards, Occupational Health, and Safety Assessment Series (OSHAS) required
